The Peterborough Youth Employment Hub seeks a Mental Health Coach to continue supporting young people in their transition to employment, education, or training. In Year 2, this role will: • Help young people develop personalized 'Thrive at Work' action plans that identify barriers to employment and potential life improvements through work or training • Provide consistent, relationship-based support across initial and follow-up sessions using a person-centered approach • Build young people's confidence, self-esteem, and sense of ownership over their employment journey • Facilitate warm handovers to specialist providers when appropriate • Expand employer engagement by developing a network of 'Champions' (local employers, business owners, and employees) who can share real-world employment and training insights • Arrange facilitated conversations between young people and Champions to inspire, raise aspirations, and demonstrate achievable employment pathways This continuation into Year 2 builds on established momentum and partnerships to reduce NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) levels in Peterborough.
