    Brief

B&NES Council is seeking a strategic partner to operate two 4-bed residential children's homes in Keynsham for children aged 11-18 with autism and complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. The homes will be co-located with a new 30-place special school (operated by an academy trust) at the former Charlton House care home site (BS31 1BF). Key details: Each home will accommodate four young people with sleep-in staff, living spaces, support areas, and gardens. The provider will work closely with the Council to deliver quality, outcome-focused provision using public funding effectively. Many residents are expected to attend the co-located school. Services are scheduled to commence 1st September 2027. This is an opportunity for an experienced children's social care provider to establish a sustainable, integrated service model in a newly developed facility.
