Engineering Contractor for Ventilation Station Repairs at Mersey Tunnels

This is a two-stage contract opportunity to appoint an engineering contractor for remedial works at eight ventilation stations across the Kingsway and Queensway Tunnel estate. Stage One involves early contractor involvement (ECI) and detailed design development based on findings from Building Fabric Condition Survey Reports. Stage Two is the construction phase for remedial works, contingent upon the Authority's approval of proposed construction costs and the Contractor's agreement to meet project deadlines. Contractors should have expertise in building remediation, detailed design development, and experience working on complex infrastructure projects. The contract is issued under a formal tender process with specific requirements detailed in the tender documents.
