Gas Burner System Replacement for IMO Building

This project involves replacing and upgrading gas burner systems on three boilers in the IMO Building. The contractor will work sequentially to maintain continuous heating by keeping at least two boilers operational throughout the project. Scope of work includes: • Removal and disposal of existing Ecoflam burners and redundant equipment • Supply and installation of new low-NOx gas burners, burner plates, and associated components on all three boilers • Replacement of boiler door refractory and installation of new boiler water temperature sensors • Modifications to existing gas pipework, gas trains, electrical supplies, and control wiring • Integration of existing boiler flow switches into the burner enable circuits • Gas tightness testing, combustion analysis, safety device testing, and manufacturer-approved commissioning • Provision of all testing, commissioning, and compliance documentation • Removal of redundant materials and completion of associated builders' works Tender Timeline: • 13 July: Tender documents issued • 23 July: Site visits available • 31 July: Deadline for tender clarifications • 7 August (12:00 noon): Deadline for tender submission • 11 September: Contract award decision Suppliers should have experience with boiler burner installations, low-NOx compliance, gas system safety testing, and ability to manage phased work schedules.
