Design and Build Contractor for Connolly Station Capacity Enhancement (DART+ Programme)

This is a competitive procurement call by Ireland for a Design and Build Contractor to deliver capacity enhancement works at Connolly Station as part of the DART+ Programme, a major modernisation initiative for rail services in the Greater Dublin Area. The DART network will expand from 50 to 150 kilometres, providing electrified, reliable, and more frequent commuter train service with improved capacity across all Dublin rail corridors and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The successful contractor will be responsible for: (1) developing detailed designs for the proposed alterations to Connolly Station; (2) constructing the works while integrating with existing operational systems; (3) testing and commissioning all installed systems; and (4) providing comprehensive as-built documentation and drawings. The scope includes system extensions for low voltage power, lighting, HVAC, CCTV, Customer Information Systems, Public Address, fire detection and suppression systems, and help points. The contractor must ensure all works seamlessly integrate with the station's ongoing operations.
