    Brief

    The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority is inviting tenders for a bus service contract to operate local bus services within St Neots. The contract will commence on 1st June 2026 for an initial period of 24 months, with an optional 12-month extension (maximum 36 months total). Funding is provided by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority. Contractors must be capable of delivering the full service from the start date. The contract requires compliance with specified route schedules, timetables, vehicle types, and ticketing equipment as detailed in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents and Route Schedule. Special conditions and additional requirements will be outlined in the Route Schedule. Providers are encouraged to explore integration opportunities with the existing commercial bus network. The Authority reserves the right to withdraw from contract conclusion.
