    Brief

BIM (Bord Iascaigh Mhara) is seeking a qualified service provider to design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive two-phase seafood educational initiative across Irish schools. The program aims to modernize educational resources and strengthen connections between Ireland's seafood industry and the education sector. Project I – Seafood in Schools (Secondary): The contractor will implement a four-module program for Transition Year students, managing all aspects including school recruitment, logistical coordination, and curriculum delivery. Working with BIM and local fishmongers, the provider will deliver content on supply chains, culinary skills, and nutrition, with strict compliance to health, safety, and safeguarding standards. Project II – School of Fish (Primary): The provider will conceptualize, design, pilot, and launch a new primary-level initiative using modern, curriculum-aligned educational resources. This phase builds on previous marine educational materials to create engaging content for younger students. The successful provider will deliver professional, high-impact learning experiences that educate and inspire the next generation about Ireland's marine environment and seafood industry. All work must comply with relevant educational standards and safeguarding requirements.
