Perimeter Fencing Installation for Peatlands Restoration at Selshion ASSI

Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council is seeking qualified contractors to design, supply, and install perimeter fencing at Selshion ASSI (Area of Special Scientific Interest) in County Armagh. This project is part of a larger peatlands restoration initiative supported by PEACEPLUS PEAT+, which spans 19 sites across the region. The fencing will serve three key purposes: contain livestock for conservation grazing, prevent unauthorised motor vehicle access, and protect the designated ASSI habitat. The work supports biodiversity enhancement and carbon capture objectives led by Ulster Wildlife in partnership with eight organisations including the local council. Contractors should demonstrate relevant experience in environmental fencing projects, conservation practices, and working within protected ecological areas.
