Employers Agent Services for Liverpool Baltic Highways and Rail Project

Liverpool Baltic is seeking an Employers Agent (EA) to represent client interests throughout the pre-construction and construction phases of both the Highways and Rail elements of the project. The successful supplier will be selected through competition using the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Professional Services Framework. Key responsibilities include: Pre-Construction and Detail Design: Review and assist in developing detailed design packages while supporting project programming. Contract Administration: Oversee construction works, manage variations, and ensure contractual compliance. Cost Management: Monitor project expenditure, negotiate variations, and manage contractor claims. Quality Assurance: Verify that works meet required quality standards throughout delivery. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between client and contractor, facilitate clear communication, resolve disputes, and support implementation of the Project Communications and Engagement Strategy. Compliance and Safety: Fulfil statutory obligations as appointed 'Client' under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. The appointed supplier will play a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery across multiple workstreams and phases.
