Sellafield Network Services Opportunity – Market Engagement

Sellafield Ltd is seeking suppliers for comprehensive Network Services through the NS4 Framework Agreement, with a planned competition launch in July 2027. This preliminary market engagement invites feedback via a Request for Information (RFI) to help Sellafield validate requirements, assess market capability, and refine procurement strategy. The Network Services opportunity covers seven key areas: (1) External Connectivity—circuit-only connectivity to external networks and data centres via MPLS, DCI, internet, satellite, and SIP; (2) Corporate Data Services—local, wireless, and managed WAN overlay services supporting corporate and business-critical applications; (3) Core Network Services—shared infrastructure including IP management, routing, load balancing, and time services; (4) Network Security Services—access control, threat protection, and gateway security across the estate; (5) Enterprise Telephony Services—VoIP, analogue, contact centre, and plant-critical voice communications; (6) Standalone Services—ad-hoc voice and data services including FTTC, FTTP, and broadband connectivity; and (7) Network Operations, Planning and Management—network administration, planning, and 24/7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) management. The contract also includes optional services such as project delivery and hardware/software provision, as well as third-party contract management and novation services as required.
