Targeted Careers Information, Advice and Guidance Service for Cumberland

Cumberland Council is seeking a provider to deliver comprehensive careers guidance services across 8 community areas. The contract begins January 10, 2027, and includes: providing independent careers advice and guidance to young people from Year 9 to age 18 (or 25 for those with EHCPs/SEND); fulfilling statutory September Guarantee requirements to ensure all 16-17 year-olds have a suitable education, training, or employment placement; identifying and supporting young people Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET); and ensuring adequate provision of education and training opportunities. The initial contract term is 3 years (ending January 9, 2030) with an optional 24-month extension available at the council's discretion (potentially extending to January 9, 2032). Maximum contract value is £2,500,000 excluding VAT for the full period, with Year 1 capped at £500,000. Any contract extensions or uplifts will be confirmed in writing to the successful supplier in advance.
