Disability Support Services for University of Salford Students

The University of Salford invites tenders for comprehensive disability support services for students and apprentices. The opportunity comprises eight lots covering: Educational Psychology assessments for specific learning difficulties (Lot 1); Band 1-2 non-medical helper support for classroom and study assistance (Lot 2); Band 4 support with specialist study skills and mentoring outside taught sessions (Lot 3); specialist d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing support including BSL interpretation (Lot 4); specialist visually impaired support including mobility training (Lot 5); Band 4 support and mentoring for apprentices (Lot 6); neurodiversity screening assessments for apprentices (Lot 7); and comprehensive needs assessments for apprenticeship students (Lot 8). Services should be evidence-based, promote independence and wellbeing, and support students to access and engage with academic and workplace learning.
