Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Supply, Installation and Management

Places for People and Anchor seek a single supplier to deliver a comprehensive electric vehicle charging infrastructure solution across their combined property portfolios. The supplier will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of approximately 20,000 charge points, including: supply and installation of charging hardware, site assessments and design, retrofit works, commissioning, software platforms, back-office management systems, payment processing, customer support, monitoring, maintenance, testing, and replacement of existing infrastructure as needed. Services will be delivered across new-build, retrofit, and residential locations on a site-by-site basis using the supplier's contracted Schedule of Rates, with no guaranteed minimum volumes or work allocation. The initial contract term is ten years with an option to extend for a further five years. The estimated total contract value is £39.2 million, fully funded by the clients, with infrastructure ownership retained by the respective contracting organisations. Separate contracts will be established with Places for People and Anchor, managed independently. Suppliers must submit a single tender covering both client lots, and the same supplier will be appointed to serve both organisations.
