Community Navigation Support for People After Suicide-Related Emergency Department Visits in North Central London

North Central London Suicide Prevention Programme (a partnership of five London boroughs, NHS trusts, and health boards) is commissioning community navigation and social prescribing services for people who have attended emergency departments for suicide-related behaviours, including self-harm, suicide attempts, or suicidal thoughts. The service will provide low-level emotional support and help clients access mental health services and practical support with issues like housing and finances. A rapid response within 72 hours of referral is essential. Multiple services are being commissioned to cover five boroughs: Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington. Each service will receive between £13,000 and £24,000 for 12 months of delivery. Organizations based in North Central London are invited to express interest, raise concerns about the delivery model, identify resource needs, or seek clarification on the tender process. This is a consultation phase to gather input before formal tendering.
