    Brief

Natural England seeks to secure two places on the Project Leadership Programme (PLP), a government-recognised leadership development programme exclusively commissioned by NISTA and delivered by Cranfield University School of Management in partnership with PA Consulting Group and The Project Academy. Selected participants (Amy Hutchins and Hannah Collins) will complete a comprehensive programme combining residential modules, executive coaching, professional assessments, and practical application to develop leadership of self, commercial leadership, and technical project leadership skills. This is the Civil Service project delivery profession endorsed training programme with no equivalent alternative providers. The programme includes tuition, accommodation, learning materials, and accreditation. Participants will be required to share key learning and insights across Natural England to embed knowledge transfer and build wider organisational capability in project delivery. This one-off development opportunity will strengthen project delivery capability, leadership expertise, and professional networks to support improved delivery of major and complex projects across Natural England and the wider Defra Group. Future leadership development requirements will be assessed independently, and alternative providers will be considered as appropriate. Programme fees are published and standardised across government departments, representing value for money.
