Heavy Commercial Vehicle Parts Supply Framework Agreement

City of Doncaster Council is establishing a 2-supplier ranked framework agreement for the supply of aftermarket parts and consumables for heavy commercial vehicles exceeding 3.5 tonnes. This framework is designed to ensure reliable parts availability, competitive pricing, quality assurance, and timely delivery to support the council's vehicle fleet workshop operations. The framework will run for 48 months, consisting of an initial 24-month period followed by two optional 12-month extensions at the council's discretion. Two suppliers will be appointed and ranked (Rank 1 and Rank 2) to provide flexibility and competition. Based on historical spending patterns, the estimated annual expenditure is £50,000, though this is demand-driven with no minimum or maximum purchase commitments. The council reserves the right to call off parts as needed based on operational requirements and budget availability, placing no obligation on suppliers for guaranteed volumes.
