Pre-Qualification for Lead Roof Replacement at St Nicholas Church Arundel

St Nicholas Parochial Church Council is seeking qualified contractors for Stage 1 (pre-qualification) of a two-stage competitive tender process to repair and replace the lead roof on the south aisle of the Grade I listed St Nicholas Church in Arundel. The successful pre-qualified contractors (4-5 shortlisted firms) will be invited to submit detailed tenders in Stage 2. Scope of Works: - Replace lead roof to the south aisle - Carry out conservation repairs to the oak roof structure and box gutters - Repoint adjacent flint walls - Repair and redecorate cast iron rainwater goods - Provide associated scaffolding for internal and external access Key Requirements: - Demonstrated experience with similar work on historic and ecclesiastical buildings - Strong understanding of conservation philosophy and craftsmanship - Proven expertise in sand cast lead work and oak rafter conservation - Sound economic and financial standing - Technical knowledge and quality track record in conservation works Deadline: Return the completed pre-qualification questionnaire by 12:00 PM on Friday, 10th July to graeme@vallisandhall.com Note: Incomplete submissions, failure to meet the deadline, or inadequate responses may result in disqualification.
