NHS Health Checks - Alternative Provider for Bromley

Bromley Council is seeking an alternative provider to deliver NHS Health Checks to fill service gaps not covered by existing GP Practice arrangements. The NHS Health Check is a national prevention programme that identifies people at risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease, and dementia, helping them reduce or manage their health risks. While most health checks in Bromley are delivered through GP Practices via Service Level Agreements, gaps in provision exist. This contract ensures all eligible residents can access NHS Health Checks. The successful provider will deliver approximately 1,000 health checks annually. This contract has been awarded to Bromley GP Alliance Ltd under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Service will run from 1st April 2026 for 4 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The estimated total contract value is £379,944 including VAT.
