    Brief

    This project involves comprehensive renovation of a gym facility and conversion of an adjacent storage room into an office space at Mary Immaculate College's Tailteann T2 Building. Work scope includes: complete gym floor removal back to concrete slab with existing underfloor heating system removal; new 55mm screed installation on damp-proof membrane (DPM); preparation for new high-impact gym flooring (to be completed by others); conversion of existing storage room into office with suspended ceiling, plasterboard walls, painting and skirting installation; structural modifications including breaking through existing wall for new window and door openings to cardio area; removal of large gym entrance door and installation of replacement door; removal of two individual plasterboard and metal grid ceilings in cardio area and installation of new suspended ceiling across full room. Electrical scope includes distribution board relocation from corridor to new office and removal/replacement of existing lighting systems. Mechanical scope includes new air conditioning system installation with outdoor units and new ducting throughout. Contractors should have experience in structural work, suspended ceiling systems, electrical distribution, HVAC installation, and commercial flooring preparation.
