    Brief

His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is seeking suppliers to provide cryptoasset investigation services to combat money laundering and financial crime. The services required include: licensed tracing software tools, blockchain forensic investigative support from expert investigators, API access for querying blockchain data, and training programmes for HMRC investigators at core and advanced levels. These services will enable HMRC to conduct automated triage, deep forensic analytics, cross-chain tracing, attribution and risk scoring, bulk data handling, investigative support, advanced visualisation, alerts and proactive intelligence, with secure and compliant operations. This procurement is divided into two separate contracts (Lots): Lot 1 offers 55 annual licenses, 550 investigative hours, 2 million API calls, and training for up to 55 core and 12 advanced participants (estimated value £2,622,000 over three years); Lot 2 offers 20 annual licenses, 200 investigative hours, 1 million API calls, and training for up to 20 core and 9 advanced participants (estimated value £1,311,000 over three years). Each contract runs for 2 years with an optional 1-year extension and up to 15% annual volume uplift. Suppliers may bid for either or both Lots but will only be awarded one. Volumes and values are indicative and may change during the contract period.
