Brief

This is a strategic planning services opportunity to provide comprehensive land use planning support to GBE-N and its associated organizations. The successful supplier will lead all planning activities including Town and Country Planning Act applications and Development Consent Orders (DCOs), manage post-application processes such as regulatory consultations, DCO examinations, and appeals, and represent the client in stakeholder engagement and expert witness roles. Key responsibilities include: developing People and Economy baseline studies and mitigation measures; supporting environmental and permitting assessments; contributing expertise to master planning and site design; providing traffic and transport assessment support as needed; and procuring and managing specialist subcontractors for additional services. This is a leadership role requiring senior planning expertise and the ability to navigate complex regulatory processes.
