Managed IT Services Provider for Merged NHS Gloucestershire and BNSSG Integrated Care Boards

Gloucestershire ICB and Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) ICB are merging into a single integrated body in April 2027. The successful supplier will deliver unified IT managed services across the merged organisation, with implementation beginning in January 2026. Key requirements include: - Service desk support (Monday-Friday, 08:00-18:00) - Onsite desktop support at two locations - End-user device lifecycle management with five-year refresh cycles - Microsoft Teams Phone as the unified communications platform - Cloud-managed secure printing - Management of 24 meeting rooms across two sites with audio-visual support - Asset tagging and IT equipment lifecycle tracking - Third-party supplier and licence management - DSPT compliance support including patch management and security documentation - Project, change, and architecture management - Digital signature capability The service model must be cloud-first with secure-by-design principles, delivering defined outcomes rather than following prescriptive specifications. A single managed service provider is preferred with end-to-end accountability. The supplier will manage all technology relationships and procure IT equipment and support contracts on behalf of the ICB. Contract value: £1,920,000 (3 years) with potential extension options for up to £2,700,000 over 5 years. Implementation starts January 2026; services commence 1 April 2027.
