Asset Data Use Cases Development and Content Management

National Highways is implementing an Asset Data Improvement Plan (ADIP) to enhance data quality across the Road Investment Strategy period 3 (RIS3). This opportunity involves developing and documenting asset data Use Cases—clearly defined data requirements and specifications that address specific business needs and establish whether data is fit for purpose. The work includes reviewing and updating existing asset data requirement documents in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the new data governance framework and format defined in the Information Management System (IMS). Each Use Case will have clear ownership and accountability assigned. This is a critical enabling initiative for the ADIP programme, with progress tracked and reported against established milestones. The successful delivery of asset data Use Cases will support progressive benefits realisation throughout RIS3 and strengthen National Highways' data management capabilities.
