Housing Stock Electrical Services Framework Agreement

The Vale of Glamorgan Council seeks a qualified electrical contractor to establish a framework agreement for installing, rewiring, testing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across its housing portfolio of approximately 4,200 residential properties throughout the region. The framework will operate for three years with an optional one-year extension. Key Requirements: - Ensure compliance with Welsh Housing Quality Standard requirements and the Council's five-yearly servicing programme - Complete all work promptly and effectively within agreed timescales while maintaining high tenant satisfaction - Provide rapid turnaround on certificates and maintain real-time tracking systems for progress, completion, and documentation - Comply with latest British Standards, Approved Documents, and all Council and specialist specifications - Register with CHAS or Constructionline - Ensure all operatives hold Cat B Asbestos Awareness qualification - Ensure all electrical installation operatives possess NICEIC Accreditation or equivalent industry-approved certification Approved Sub-Contractors must meet the same standards. Bidders must not contact site residents during the bidding process; any such contact will result in disqualification.
