Brief

Bromley Council seeks an experienced independent professional to serve as Chair of the Bromley Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB). The role requires providing strategic leadership and ensuring robust governance to enable the Board to fulfill its statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, including overseeing Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs). The Chair will ensure the Board aligns with CQC Local Authority inspection standards across four key areas: working effectively with people; providing appropriate support; ensuring safety; and demonstrating strong leadership. This is an opportunity to lead a multi-agency partnership focused on protecting vulnerable adults and improving safeguarding outcomes across the borough.
