School Admission Appeals Hearing Service

Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) is seeking a supplier to deliver school admission appeals hearing services. Under the School Admissions Code 2021 and the School Admission Appeals Code 2022, admission authorities must provide parents and carers with the right to appeal refused school place applications. As the admission authority for community and voluntary controlled schools in Milton Keynes, MKCC requires an impartial, efficient, and legally compliant appeals service. The successful supplier will be responsible for administering the appeals process in full statutory compliance, coordinating appeal hearings, convening independent appeal panels according to statutory guidance, maintaining accurate records, and providing information for statutory reporting and transparency requests. This is a contract award notification.
