Future Leaders Fellowships Development Network - 3 Year Supplier Contract

UKRI is seeking a supplier to deliver the next phase of the Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF) Development Network. The FLF scheme, launched in 2018, is a major cross-UKRI initiative supporting researchers and innovators with outstanding potential across universities, UK businesses, and other research environments including charities and research institutes. Over 700 fellows have been funded since inception, with growing participation from business-hosted fellows alongside traditional academic placements. The successful supplier must: demonstrate capability to engage diverse stakeholders across academia, business, and other sectors; deliver a programme with access to expertise spanning multiple disciplines and organisational types; and reflect the diversity of UKRI's supported cohort. The contract runs for 3 years (£3.78M) with an optional 2-year extension (£2.52M) contingent on a mid-point review against agreed Key Performance Indicators. The supplier will also administer flexible funds (£378K for years 1-3; £252K for extension period) enabling fellows to pursue self-identified opportunities, maximising impact of their work through grant funding agreements.
