Food Supply and Distribution Framework for Cumberland Council

Cumberland Council is seeking suppliers to establish a multi-lot framework agreement for the supply and distribution of various foods to Cumberland Care Sites (8 care homes and 9 day centres), Cumberland Council offices, and up to 31 maintained schools that do not use third-party meal providers. The contract is divided into 4 separate lots, each to be awarded to one supplier: Lot 1 (Fresh Meat & Fish), Lot 2 (Fresh Fruit & Vegetables), Lot 3 (Frozen Foods), and Lot 4 (Groceries & Provisions including milk, bread, sandwich fillings, salads, cooked meats and soft drinks). Suppliers may bid for one or multiple lots. Selected suppliers will be responsible for supplying and distributing their full product range across all eligible sites within Cumberland Council's footprint. School participation is subject to individual opt-in agreements and is not guaranteed. This is an opportunity to become a preferred supplier with access to multiple customer sites across the region.
