Grounds Maintenance Contractor for Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council

Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Contractor located within 10 miles of Basingstoke to manage comprehensive grounds upkeep services. The scope includes maintenance of two children's play areas, adult exercise equipment, sports and recreation fields, cemetery, garden of remembrance, allotments, car parks, and a National Heritage site featuring archery, bowls, cricket, and football pitches. Required services encompass grass and hedge cutting, maintenance of grass borders, cemetery and allotment upkeep, and seasonal sports pitch maintenance and treatment. The successful contractor must demonstrate prior experience and specialist knowledge in heritage site maintenance, bowling green care, and cricket pitch management, along with proven customer satisfaction and the ability to be responsive and flexible when working with clubs and facility users. Site attendance for sports and other events, including weekends, is required. This is a 5-year initial contract with a potential 2-year extension subject to satisfactory performance.
