Traceability System for Precast Concrete Tunnel Segment Supply Chain

This opportunity involves developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring and traceability system for the production, logistics, and installation of approximately 39,000 precast concrete tunnel segments. The segments are manufactured at Avonmouth, transported via multi-modal logistics (truck and rail), stored across four facilities (TPF, Railhead, ACA, and TLC), and installed in three tunnel boring machines (TBMs) serving two intake tunnels and one outfall tunnel. The solution must provide complete end-to-end visibility from casting through installation, enabling real-time tracking, quality assurance, inventory management, and reporting across all supply chain partners. Key requirements include eliminating reporting gaps, improving quality traceability, resolving inventory discrepancies, preventing installation errors, avoiding segment duplication, and maintaining transparency with all stakeholders. Suppliers with expertise in supply chain visibility, asset tracking, quality management systems, or logistics coordination are encouraged to submit proposals.
