    Brief

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is seeking qualified organizations or individuals to deliver a comprehensive 14-month cultural integration programme funded through PEACEPLUS. The programme aims to bridge understanding between indigenous and newcomer (BME) communities through shared experiences in music, arts, dance, food, and crafts. Key deliverables include recruiting 280 participants (equally balanced across community groups), delivering a minimum 26 hours of cross-community engagement per participant, organizing 7 cultural showcase events and 2 large public celebrations, and creating a vehicle to capture and promote cultural activities across the Borough. The programme will address cultural barriers, build confidence in both communities, improve relationships, and increase participants' engagement in wider society through accredited educational workshops on diversity, equality, active citizenship, and conflict management. Budget: €147,295 (exclusive of VAT) with phased fund release. Delivery must commence within 6 weeks of contract award and be completed by September 2027. Collaborative partnerships between multiple organizations are encouraged, as are individual submissions.
