Precast Concrete Under Track Crossing Chambers and Ductwork Installation - HS2 NC2A Section

This subcontract opportunity involves the installation of a precast concrete Under Track Crossing (UTX) chamber system as part of the North Chilterns to Aylesbury (NC2A) section of the HS2 project, managed by the EKFB Joint Venture. The successful subcontractor will be responsible for all management, labor, materials, plant, equipment, and supervision required to safely install and hand over the complete UTX system. Key responsibilities include: dewatering and edge protection of excavations; setting out and transferring precast concrete chambers from the laydown area to installation points; installing segmented precast concrete chambers and covers onto base slabs in accordance with design specifications and manufacturer's instructions; installing all associated ducting systems; placing FND4 cast-in-situ concrete around the UTX and ducts; and completing testing and handover. The Contractor will provide excavation to formation level and precast base slabs, while the Subcontractor will complete remaining excavation and all installation works to HS2 standards and local authority specifications.
