Brief

The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking Independent Specialist Education Providers to deliver education services for children and young people aged 5-25 with special educational needs and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This Light Touch Framework aims to increase choice in the local education market whilst ensuring value for money. The framework is divided into four lots by educational phase: Lot 1 covers primary education (ages 5-11), Lot 2 covers secondary education (ages 11-16), Lot 3 covers post-16 education (ages 16-19), and Lot 4 covers post-19 provision (age 19+). Maintained schools are not required to apply as they can be contracted directly by the authority. Providers should have expertise in supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs as defined in the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
