Sampson Park Phase 3: Landscape and Native Tree Planting

Sampson Park is Connor Downs' only public green space and a vital community asset. This contract is for Phase 3 of a £200k+ refurbishment project, which will add soft landscaping, native tree planting, cobbles, planters, and signage to complete the park's transformation. Phase 3 is the final phase that will deliver the project's core nature recovery and biodiversity benefits, creating a nature-rich, inclusive green space where residents can connect with the natural environment. Previous phases (1 and 2) covering demolition, play equipment, surfacing, access improvements, and groundworks are already fully funded with £168,576 in confirmed match funding and are on schedule for completion in August 2026. This contract has a maximum budget of £35,000 including VAT and will be managed by a Working Group comprising Connor Downs Residents Association (CDRA) and Gwinear Gwithian Parish Council (GGPC).
