    Brief

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) seeks a professional services contractor to manage and support its video conferencing infrastructure across North Wales health facilities. BCUHB currently operates PolyCom video conferencing endpoints across three District General Hospitals (Ysbyty Gwynedd, Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd) and eighteen Community Hospital sites, primarily used for large meeting rooms and clinical Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings alongside Microsoft Teams collaboration tools. The health board plans to migrate from legacy PolyCom codecs to native Microsoft Teams endpoints within 12 months, enabling retirement of its PexIP interoperability service. The successful contractor will provide comprehensive professional services including: auditing and documenting the existing video conferencing estate; planning and implementing migration to Microsoft Teams-compatible endpoints; managing software maintenance and upgrades; configuring and maintaining a central video conferencing management portal; administering PolyCom services; implementing monitoring and management tools; and maintaining system documentation. The contractor will work collaboratively with BCUHB's established Voice and Data team within the ICT department to support this strategic technology transition.
