Public Open Space Audit and Assessment

The Council is developing a New Local Plan and requires an updated evidence base, including a comprehensive Open Space Audit. This project will assess all public open spaces across the Borough to evaluate their quality, quantity, and accessibility. The audit findings will directly inform the Council's ability to establish evidence-based open space standards within the new Local Plan. This is an opportunity for qualified suppliers to conduct a systematic evaluation of existing public open spaces, gather detailed data on their current condition and usage, and provide recommendations that will shape future planning policy and investment decisions.
