HSE West Architect Services Framework Agreement for Non-Acute Healthcare Capital Works (€15M-€60M)

Multi-party framework agreement for architectural services (including planning and BIM) for HSE West's non-acute healthcare capital projects valued between €15M and €60M excluding VAT, covering the Galway, Mayo, and Roscommon regions. The initial project involves constructing a new 75-bed Community Nursing Unit at Ballina District Hospital campus, comprising three floors with 25 single en-suite bedrooms per floor meeting HIQA standards for residential care of older people, plus a 10-bed dementia-specific unit on the ground floor. The scope includes extensive refurbishment of the existing district hospital female wing, new commercial kitchen and laundry facilities, physiotherapy areas, and day-care services. Additional works encompass a new car park, medical building, sub-station with generator room, demolition of existing structures, and underground service diversions. The total project floor area is approximately 10,834 m2. Construction elements will be tendered as separate packages (enabling works, main construction, etc.) subject to statutory approvals, HSE authorization, and funding confirmation.
