Integrated Pest Management Services for South West Wales Health Boards

Hywel Dda University Health Board and Swansea Bay University Health Board are seeking service providers to deliver Integrated Pest Management services across multiple sites in South West Wales. The contract covers approximately 101 locations across Carmarthenshire (31), Pembrokeshire (21), Ceredigion (18), Swansea (20), and Neath Port Talbot (11). Services will include preventative and reactive pest management across diverse facilities including acute hospitals, community hospitals, mental health units, clinics, kitchens, waste compounds, external grounds, and specialist areas. Risk-based site classification will determine service requirements. The procurement is led by Hywel Dda University Health Board with Swansea Bay University Health Board. Pre-market engagement includes a questionnaire to assess market interest, supplier capacity, and optimal lotting structures, plus a virtual event for bidders to learn about the opportunity and procurement timeline. NWSSP welcomes suggestions on how to reduce barriers for SMEs and local suppliers regarding lotting, insurance, accreditation, and contract requirements.
