The Legal Aid Agency is seeking qualified service providers to deliver contact centre services across two key operations: (1) Defence Solicitor Call Centre (DSCC) - manages intake calls, identification, and deployment of defence solicitors to provide free legal advice to clients in police custody in England and Wales; and (2) Civil Legal Advice Operator Service (CLAOS) - assesses client eligibility for legal aid based on issue scope and financial circumstances, then directs eligible clients to specialist legal aid services or alternative support resources. This is a tender opportunity under Lot 1 (Citizen Experience) of the Outsourced Services Framework (RM6295). Prospective suppliers should have experience managing high-volume call centre operations, legal aid eligibility assessment, and providing customer-facing public services.
