Mental Health Prevention Services for Adults

Liverpool City Council is seeking a qualified and experienced organisation to deliver preventative mental health services to adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. The service aims to prevent, reduce, and delay the need for acute or crisis mental health support while reducing demand on statutory services. Key service requirements include: - Single Point of Referral with 'No Wrong Door' accessibility - Neighbourhood-based delivery across Liverpool - Evidence-based interventions including peer mentoring with flexibility to adapt during the contract - Expanded volunteering, education, and training pathways to help service users transition out of services - Person-centred menu of interventions offering choice, autonomy, and control based on individual assessment - Comprehensive monitoring and outcome evaluation for continuous improvement - Collaborative working with delivery partners to ensure streamlined, responsive, and equitable service provision - Strong co-production approach involving service users in service design and delivery This is part of Liverpool City Council's wider mental health transformation, emphasising strength-based reablement and improved efficiency and effectiveness of mental health support.
