Ergonomic Furniture Supply for University of Essex

The University of Essex, in collaboration with Dukefield Procurement, has launched a new Furniture Framework as of March 17, 2025. They are now seeking suppliers to participate in a mini-competition for Lot 5, which focuses on Ergonomic Furniture for all three of their campuses. This mini-competition will lead to the appointment of a single supplier to provide these services. However, it is important to note that there is no exclusivity agreement, and the University retains the right to engage other suppliers if necessary. Currently, the University’s furniture collection includes various brands across its campuses. The chosen supplier must be capable of sourcing furniture from a diverse range of manufacturers. The goal of this contract is to standardize the selection of ergonomic furniture throughout its duration, which will help the University minimize its environmental footprint and promote the health, safety, and well-being of both staff and students.
