    Brief

Wigan Council is looking for a supplier to provide compostable liners for seven-litre kitchen caddies used by residents. The supplier will need to deliver approximately 18,000 to 19,000 rolls of liners each month to the Makerfield Way Depot in Wigan. These liners will be distributed to residents by waste collection crews. Additionally, residents can pick up liners from Wigan and Leigh Life Centres (libraries) upon request. The Wigan Life Centre requires about 400 rolls per week, with a preference for 1,500 to 2,000 liners delivered monthly due to limited storage space. The Leigh Life Centre only needs around 20 rolls per week, totaling about 500 rolls for a six-month period. The contract will last for one year, starting from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, with the first delivery expected by mid-January 2026 after a lead time of 12-14 weeks.
