Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Fund Administrator

Ofgem is seeking a Service Provider to administer the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Fund, managing voluntary redress payments from energy companies and distributing them as grants to charitable and non-profit organisations that benefit energy consumers across Great Britain. The Service Provider will be responsible for: efficiently managing and distributing voluntary redress monies; maintaining a flexible approach to accommodate changing fund levels and Ofgem guidance; identifying and assessing eligible redress recipients with strong track records; managing the complete grant lifecycle including application processing, assessment, and fund disbursement (with minimum £1 million awards for fuel voucher projects); integrating or developing fit-for-purpose systems for online applications, applicant databases, and the Energy Redress website; leveraging expertise in the British energy sector to allocate funds that deliver value for money and consumer benefits; monitoring project delivery and evaluating effectiveness; producing monthly financial reports and quarterly/annual impact reports; maintaining a public website with transparency on funding rounds, projects, and evaluation results; and driving continuous improvement of scheme performance.
