Lateral Mains Renewals Contract - Citywide

This contract involves the supply of materials, labor, and equipment necessary for electrical engineering services to upgrade the lateral main supply for domestic dwellings. The work includes liaising with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and the electrical supply authority, ensuring compliance with the latest BS 7671 standards. The project entails a systematic replacement of the electrical sub-mains distribution system across multiple residential blocks. This includes the installation of containment systems, distribution boards, sub-main cabling, and landlord distribution boards, along with all necessary components such as main fuses, HRC, RCD, and MCB to ensure a fully operational system. The work will be carried out on a call-off basis according to the measured term conditions. Cable containment will utilize stainless steel conduit, tray, or trunking suitable for the complete installation of the system.
