Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Treatment Services

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract award for delivering inpatient treatment services for managing withdrawal from drugs and alcohol dependence. The contract runs for an initial 3-year term from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2029, with an option to extend for a further 4 years (two 24-month periods), potentially extending the total contract term to 7 years until March 31, 2033. Providers will be paid on a cost-per-case basis according to specific pricing rates applied only to actual services delivered to patients—there is no guaranteed contract value. The opportunity is open for new service delivery throughout the contract duration. Please note this contract is awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and is not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or 2023. The contract may be affected by Local Government Reorganisation and could be novated to a successor council or modified to reflect new council arrangements as needed.
