Access Control System Software and Support Services

The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) has awarded a contract to G4S for the provision of software, maintenance, support, and associated services for the access control system at the NOC Southampton site. The access control system is integrated with the University of Southampton's access management framework, which determines access requirements for staff and students requiring entry to NOC facilities. These requirements are automatically synchronized with NOC systems to ensure consistent security and access management across the shared estate. The contract covers ongoing software licensing, technical support, preventive and corrective maintenance, and service obligations necessary to maintain operation, security, and regulatory compliance of the access control infrastructure. Suppliers should note that access policies are governed by the University of Southampton and must be compatible with existing institutional systems.
