Brake Linings Supply for EN76 Series Trains

This contract involves the supply of 3,000 sets of brand new brake linings of the type COFREN FRENDO SP201/320 SI, or equivalent, for use in EN76 series trains. The equivalent linings must be approved for use in this type of vehicle, possess identical functions and performance, and their use must not require obtaining permission for the EN76 series train to be put into circulation. Each set of linings consists of two brake linings – one for the right and one for the left side. The buyer requires that the supplied items have: 1) a UIC certificate in accordance with UIC 541-3, valid at the time of the offer submission, 2) a technical drawing of the offered type of brake lining, 3) a product data sheet that includes the basic technical parameters of the offered brake linings. In all provisions of the contract notice and its attachments that refer to standards, technical assessments, technical specifications, and reference technical systems, the buyer allows for the use of equivalent solutions, as per Article 101(4) of the Public Procurement Law, provided they achieve characteristics or parameters no worse than those specified. If equivalent solutions are proposed, the contractor must demonstrate in writing the equivalence of the offered technical parameters concerning the subject of the contract. The contractor must prove in the offer, particularly through the relevant evidence mentioned in Articles 104-107 of the Public Procurement Law, that the proposed solutions meet the requirements specified in the description of the subject of the contract.
