The Ecclesia Partnership, comprising Bishop Winnington-Ingram, Holy Trinity, St Mary's and St John's Church of England Primary Schools, is seeking a catering contractor to provide meal services across all four schools from 1st September 2026. This is a collaborative procurement exercise aimed at achieving service consistency, cost savings and operational efficiencies while respecting each school's individual needs. The service model primarily involves delivered hot meals, except at St John's which has an on-site kitchen. The successful bidder(s) may be appointed either as a single contractor across all schools or through separate individual school contracts, depending on what offers the best value. Bidders must submit proposals demonstrating capability for both combined and individual contract delivery. The initial contract runs for three years with optional two-year extensions (3+1+1) based on performance. The estimated combined contract value is approximately £946,000 (excluding VAT) over three years, though individual school values vary with no guaranteed spend. Contractors must have or be able to obtain Admission Body Status (ABS) in a London Borough due to staff pension scheme requirements at St John's.
