Electricity Supply Contract for Municipal Markets in Ruse, Bulgaria

This public procurement contract is for the supply of net active electricity from a contractor who will act as a coordinator for a standard balancing group for low voltage facilities owned by Municipal Markets EOOD in Ruse. The contract includes the provision of electricity at freely negotiated prices, in accordance with the Energy Act and the Rules for Electricity Trading. The selected supplier will be responsible for forecasting consumption and balancing responsibilities. The contract also covers the administration of regulatory fees, network services, and excise duties, which will be paid by the contracting authority to the supplier. Before signing the contract, the selected supplier must provide a certificate from the electricity distribution company confirming a framework agreement. The total estimated quantity of electricity to be supplied over the contract period is 4,501.14 MWh, based on the energy consumed over the last 12 months, covering the period from August 2024 to July 2025. The contracting authority reserves the right to include new facilities during the contract term and will not pay fees for certain administrative tasks related to balancing and scheduling.
