Construction of Energy Hub in Viborg

Viborg Varme is seeking suppliers for the construction of a new Energy Hub in Foulum. This project involves establishing a fully operational energy center equipped with heat pump systems that utilize surplus heat from Energinet's DC station and Apple's data center in Foulum, located east of Viborg. The surplus heat will be processed to reach district heating temperatures for use in Viborg Varme's district heating network. The project also includes the installation of process connection facilities at the existing heating plant on Randersvej (RAVP). The process facility, designated as contract E01, will be developed in two phases, with Phase 1A included in this tender package. Phase 1B is pending the expansion rate of surplus heat and subsequent investment decisions. Other contracts will be executed in a comprehensive phase to ensure that construction, district heating pipes, and partially tank facilities are established and prepared for the heat quantities of phases 1A and 1B. The building will be modular, allowing for future expansions to the east for larger quantities of surplus heat. This requires that the process contract considers the possibility of further expansion beyond phases 1A and 1B. The energy center will be established through several contracts that are expected to collaborate for an optimal facility for Viborg Varme. The project is divided into five sub-projects: E01 - Process Technical Facilities, E02 - Construction and Technical Facilities, E03 - District Heating Transmission Lines, E04 - Accumulation Tank and Buffer Tanks, E05 - District Heating Pipe Package.
